Cornishpastythighs Well-known member Jan 4, 2012 #2 I have never seen oil varnish used in a tower coater. I have only seen it used in a print unit. I would think a tower coater would put far too much varnish on the sheet and it would never dry or would block like mad. I wouldnt do it.

T turbotom1052 Well-known member Jan 4, 2012 #4 even if you could lay down a thin enough film that would dry id hate to think what the washup would be like. I recommend sticking to coating.
