paying extra for high capacity tray service?

wonderings

We are looking at a Xerox J75, as well as a few other machines. Currently in talks for leasing a J75. Normally we buy outright, but were looking at this option this time around. Xerox is wanting $90 for the high capacity feeder service a month, they say they can probably lowered it a bit. I am just curious, is this normal? Seems crazy to me to have a high price for service on a feeder tray. But again, not sure what the norm is when leasing and service. We currently have a 260 with a professional finisher, no high capacity trays.

So again, is this what others are paying for service on a high capacity feeder service?

Is it 90 a month for just the service or is that the lease plus the service? How much is it to buy the tray. 90 bucks a month for 60 months would be 5400 dollars.

it is $90 just for service, they included the price into the unit for the high cap tray.

That's a line of crap... the service should be included into the engine maintenance. Tell them to shove it up where the sun doesn't shine. In the last 8 years all they have done with mine are feed tires. They sure as hell ain't putting $90.00 worth of tires in them either.

Thats pretty much where we are at. The nickel and dimeing over something like this is leaving a very bad taste in our mouth and if they do not drop it will have us looking elsewhere for sure.
