Perfect Binding with Coated Covers

I have a customer who wants to perfect bind coated stock to a coated cover on both sides. There is coating under the backbone of the book. Have any of you had success in doing this?

As long as you spare-out any AQ, UV and Ink you should be fine.

Hi David,

For every perfect bound type job we do, we knock out the ink and any varnish/aqueous on the inside spine to help ensure there are no binding issues.
