presstek di colors jumping high

We have a presstek 52cm di and during the run our colors tend to start ok and then as the run goes on they start to creep up high and continue. We have to constantly play the keyboard to keep them down. Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?

Adjust the curves lower for each of the colors. Keep the fountain roller speed slightly higher than recommended. check to see if your roller temperature has increased. Adjust it according to your room conditions. If you are using soft tac ink, switch to normal tac Taniguchi ink while lowering roller temperature. Hope this helps you, it did for me.

Sounds good. I have been wondering about the temperature for a while. We use a mid tack ink which is good. Do you have trouble with blues looking purple? The proofs are blue but we have to jump the cyan super high to get any blue. We have a 52 Di. Will the lower temp help with Hickeys. Waterless presses seem to produce high amounts of them.
