when printing using a large/wide format printer, what is the advantages and dis advintages of printing the job at two passes.:D
 
maybe you mean uni vs bi directional?, bi is faster, but you have to align dots in the two directions, so very small knocked out graphics can be hard to keep registered
 
our printer also has the option to do extra passes to increase the ink density. This is useful when you're doing backlit work that looks washed out unless you get the extra density.
