Problem with Lotem 400

Hi, i'm operating a lotem 400, year 2001. Lately i have this problem with unloading the plates. From time to time the plate jams when unloading from drum to unloader. i bypassed the interlocks and loaded/unloaded a plate. i discovered that the roller bar (pneumatically actioned) that should press the plate and direct it between the rollers, is not correctly synchronised - it goes down a second too late and in the meantime the plate is hiting the upper door of the lotem and jams.
Anybody any ideea?

thanks,
rz

With the bypass on, put the roller detector and valve on screen - actuate the roller a few times and see if it moves properly.
Most probably the problem is with the cylinder, moving too slow.

i solved it. it was because of the roller bar pressing the plate toward unloading system. we recently changed from fuji to agfa plates. the agfa aluminium is more rigid than fuji's and the unloading roller bar wasn't pressing the plate hard enough to bend it down. i just manually adjusted the rollers to put some extra pressure on the plate and everything it's ok now. :)
thanks anyway for your answer nemo
