Quark 8 .PS and .PDF Geometry Not Set In Prinergy

Ive noticed needing to set the Geometry on refined masters coming from Quark 8, Postscript AND .PDF, Not only does it need to be reset, but it needs to be re stripped as well through preps, instead of just re running the virtual proof.

Anyone else noticing this? Anyone have an effective work-around / solution?

Ive used QuarkXPress since 1993, and I'm still faster in it than indesign, but this geometry thing is slowing me down.

Hi David

It depends on how you create your .ps or PDF in Quark 8.0. If you export using the Quark export to PDF filter (either going direct to PDF or set to create .ps) it creates the pagebox info correctly. If you print to .ps it doesn't.

I believe that Quark just fixed this in the 8.12 update.
