Hi Folks

We have sheet fed machines all HBG.Recently we eliminate IPA in our press,from there we are facing following traps,please give your suggestion to get rid out of this.

1.Water level is too high - in all colours (process and spl colors)

2.Very oftenly we have facing eye irritation issues in press floor(our floor consist of big hall and all the machine installed with relevant spaces.

What product have you replaced the IPA with?

No Alternate product for IPA but we change the fount.Initailly we face many problem and we conduct many trials with many products,

All fountain solutions I have experience with have an Alcohol replacement or substitute component. This is either already in the etch and is known as a 1 step fountain solution or is supplied separately and known as a 2 step fountain solution. What tests/trials did you do prior to deciding on the etch you are running? Are you dosing the components correctly, are you mixing by hand or are you using an automatic doser. Giving the group more details may help them to diagnose the problem better for you.

Actually we are using one step fountain solution and not manual mix its feeded in autodoser(technotrans).

Test and trial method we used in running the job with less water but we cant minimise the water almost our water level is shooted more like more than 60.
