Do you know about Hp indigo system? In ink tranfer system, we can use blanket cylinder with heating. As far as i know, it help tranfer ink to material easy with Hp electroInk. In offset printing, Can you use Blanket cylinder with heating. I think it will improve ink tranfer and reduce dot-gian. Forcedly, we must use new technology ink.

I generally find heat a bad thing, our press is water-cooled to maintain an even ink flow. We run waterless plates and heat is the enemy of waterless to some degree, on cold mornings the press is heated and when it warms its cooled, the process is tuned to be best at 21c.

In keyless inking the temperature of the inking rollers is exactly controlled. If a little more ink is required the inking unit temperature can be increased in one tenth of a centigrade degree increments. The result is the same as increasing blanket temperature.
