So we are looking at both these machines and -at least acc to sales rep - there's a difference only in speed and the rip options..(720 comes only w lower end fiery, 900 w higher end fiery OR creo)

Am just looking for any and all feedback on either of these machines or anyone who has used these and another machine they preferred...

Our main gig is 100# cover duplexed...13x19...

Just really looking for any and all commentary at this point...service, performance etc...

Thanks in advance,

In house tech, no affiliation with Ricoh or a dealership:

We have a C900, full scale Fiery (E-80) and it suits our needs. Low down time, oil based fuser is a non-issue and the oversized toner tubes are pretty easy/long-lasting. Biggest downer is the nooks and crannies were made for Japanese hands; jam clearing can be a bit tough. That said, ours really doesn't jam until one of my users does something wrong.

The engine hardware is identical apart from the speed of the machine.. it all comes down to productivity, RIP features, finishing options and cost at the end of the day.. only you can decide that one..
