I would stay with Xerox. I have a Ricoh Pro 651Ex the 1st week we had it there is an issue that Ricoh calls a halo effect. Whe you print type on top of a screen like in a newsletter the copier will outline the type with a white line. They couildn't fix it and they refused to take it back. I showed the head tech guys that Ricoh sent out and I printed the same file on our old Xerox 240 which printed fine. They don't have an answer. That was 2 years ago and we still have that problem. We also replaced ouir old Ricoh B/W copier with a 907, and we had an old booklet maker that the Sales Rep in and Email stated that our Booklet maker was covered under the new service contract, but when I called in for service, Ricoh told me that we don't have that piece covered under the new contract, even though I showed the head of service the email saying that it is covered. I have been a customer with Ricoh/Lanier for over 12 years and this is the way I get treated when I have a problem. I would recommend that you look at other corries since Ricoh does not stand by what they sell. If you have any questions please feel free to let me know.
