Hi guys,I have a trouble, our machine run normal until I switch SP5807 from N/A to EU, so error "fusing unit is not set correctly" appear, when I switch SP5807 back to N/A the error disappear but fusing lamps is off, so my machine is not warming up. Please help me.Thank in advance.

I did used to run this machine but unsure about your error.

Have you checked (if you have one) your PDF file which lists most common faults/errors.

Do you get any service code errors?

Running digi machines outside of a service contract will cost you more in the long run.

Thank you,

There is no service code errors appear. Maybe I have to re-setting some SP code. Do you have advice for me?

Hop into maintenance mode and print out an error log. Then post the contents up here so we can see what all is going on.

Thank onwsk8r, but I can't print because the printer is not operate.

I have checked Memory Clear (5801)
-006: Copier application: Execute
-009: Scanner application: Execute

but - 008: Priter Application: Invalid Operation.

What is happened with it.

Thank all.

How long have you left it sit? If the lamps are not coming on you will get an error but it could take a while. I would make sure there isn't a fuse blown on the fusing unit. There are several of them on the right side behind the black fuzzy cover. I would not do the 5801 engine clear or all clear. If you do think you need to do that make sure you have the birth certificate otherwise you will not have some of the information that needs to be entered back in.

Thank msaeger, I waited for a long time, but the machine don't warm up. Everything ok when I check input, but the machine don't warm up automatically. Please tell the what is the birth certificate of the machine? I think I have to set some SP codes, but I don't know which are the SP codes?

Thank you very much.

The birth certificate is a sheet that has the non default values that would need to re-entered if you were to clear the memory and were unable print out the SMC report.

I would check the fuses on the fusing unit and make sure power is getting to the lamps before doing a memory clear. You should get an error code if it isn't warming up so I could see if being some kind of logic thing but I still always do the memory clear last.

Thank you, when I check input (fusing moto) every thing ok: lamps, thermostats, thermistors works well. But the machine not self checking automatically at startup, so it doesn't go to ready step. There is no error code, do you thing I have to set SP codes?
Thanks.

Is the machine seeing the Fiery? You could clear everything under 5801 except the engine and you won't really lose anything important. Did you see if the birth certificate is there? It would be one sheet I think on that machine it comes taped up inside the paper purge tray or inside the frame inside the right door.

My Fiery server get error "starting ... please wait". I cleared 5801-001 ( include engine :( ). My machine's SELF CHECKING procedure is not running when startup, so the machine doesn't go to ready step. I don't know why :(

Thank you, I have found the error and fix it. Now, new error is SC415, I have to check some reason, I'll report late :)

415 is ID sensor error for cyan. What fixed the other issue?
Hi msaeger, the machine doesn't warming up at start up because of the oil is almost empty :).
What is the reason of SC410, I have changed development and now the error appears

Never even thought to ask about the oil level :)

410 is density for black as read by the image density sensor on the image transfer belt is not where it is supposed to be. Maybe the ID sensor is unpugged since you had the 415 too?

Were you able to get a print out at all? If you can was it good? The issue is either that the toner density is really too high or too low or that the ID sensor is giving false readings because there is something wrong with that. If you can't get a print out you could release the ITB cleaning blade and after it errors out look at the ITB and see if the ID and MUSIC patterns are on there.

I have never had the ID sensor be bad it is usually something dirty or disconnected. There are two connectors going to the ID sensor one is two pins for the cleaner and there bigger one is for the ID sensors. Could be a bent pin.

Could be an issue with the ITB cleaning unit like the blade release lever is in the released position so the belt isn't getting cleaned.
