I have been using the Screen Platerite 8600 for over 10 years and it still runs well. Their service technicians are very good so I would highly recommend that you get some type of service contract with them.

Fuji Javelin (Screen - 8600z w/MAL) - 8 years, still churning out those consumables - 2 laser diodes replaced.
Best output device I have ever used. (Minimal errors, linearization stays rock-solid)

I have a PTR 8000 and PTR 8000-II. Very reliable. Only replaced 2 diodes on a the 8000 in the last 10 yrs. No problems at all
