Advise and thoughts needed.

Everyone has been so helpful in the past so once again I am in need of your professional opinions. This time it is on a press that we are looking to purchase.

We are looking to purchase a Shinohara 66VI-C, year 1999. We know very little/nothing about this press and would like feed back from anyone who has one or has used one in the past.

Are these presses still being made?

Thank you,

I think the 66VI is a five color. Does the "C" stand for coater?

We have three Shinos, a six color 66, six color 75 and a two color 66. Our older 66, six color is a 98 model with coater. The press prints excellent of you maintain it well and go through the grippers periodically. This press will still run at 12,000 iph with a 230 line screen with no slur, but we have taken good care of it.

The coater is a three roller system and runs well when you learn all of the tricks.
