Small Conveyor for Printer

We just received our new KM 7000. Seems good so far but we have not put it to work yet really.

We are not happy with the booklets coming out at such a low height. We can't even get a box under it and it jams after a very small number of booklets.

Does anyone have a source or know of a supplier of a small conveyor. It need to move the booklets from the 8" mark to maybe 20" so we can put a box down to get the booklets. Other specs is a booklet every 20 seconds (so slow) and 11 1/2" to 13" wide and hopefully about 2 feet long.

Even if we could find the parts we could likely make it out of wood.

Thank you

Prairie Dog.

Many others feel your pain! I'm a big guy and it's a pain to crawl around on the floor to pick-up booklets up off the floor, I've joked to the boss about a conveyor as well to make it more convenient. Something like the Rena Mailing Inkjet conveyor would be swell! It's about 4 foot long and has a little knob to control the speed. A used one would do the trick. For the quick fix I took off the booklet chute and just let them spit out onto the floor and put a piece of cardboard down so they slide a little. It allows more books to be printed between pick-ups off the floor. It's certainly an upgrade Konica could take a look at, for now I'll just take the workout.
