Throughout my career, I've always found that women on machines got me more production and thru-put at the end of the day, than men on machines.
You see, most men have an innate "tinkering" mentality. Not their fault, they're either born with it, or, it was the way they are raised. If the equipment jams for any reason, they will clear the jam, then "tweak" the machine for hours to try and prevent future jams.
Women, on the other hand, just clear the jam and keep on going. Even though it may jam multiple times, they will have out-produced their male counterparts by the end of the day.
