Hi Thomas,

I am a tech support specialist for Stahlfolders at Heidelberg USA.

You can contact your regional Heidelberg organization. You will need the serial number of the machine. What you didn't tell us was what type of feeder it is. There are two different boards for the machine...one is a TR4ASG for round (continuous) feeders and the other is a TR4ASB for pile feeders. Both boards are available from Heidelberg's Spare Parts inventory.

What exactly is the problem you are having?

Here are the part numbers:

TR4ASG - ZD.227-794-01-00

TR4ASB - ZD.203-797-02-00

Hello Norm Gensel,

Thank you for your help. The serial number of the machine is 177761, its 1978 made machine, and the types of feeder is the TR4ASB for Pile Feeder.

Referring from our technical department the problem are:the feeder table did not function and cannot go up and down, and we concluded that the problem is from the control card is broken. because looking from the feeder motor it is functioning.

Thank you

Thomas,

I would like to add a few more suggestions before you order a board and find out it is not the problem. I checked the wiring diagram for the machine and I found a few more things for you to check:

Are you getting incoming voltage to the board at terminals 2 and 4? I would start at relay d14 then d22 or d23 (either d22 or d23 will be on but not at the same time, it depends on the position of the pile direction [change-over] switch - up or down). Then I would check d26, this is a timer relay that should be set at 2 seconds. I would finally check d27.

Please let me know the outcome.

Hi, Norm Gensel,

Thanks for the suggestions, our technician had checked already according to your information and the wiring diagram, and still according to them the problem is on the speed control.

So we think we still need the speed control. In the mean time also, we currenty contacted the regional Heidelberg organization based on your suggestion.

Thank you,
