Sun Introduces New UV Flexo Inks

Sun Chemical has 2 new high performance inks joining its SolarFlex family of narrow web, UV flexo inks—SolarFlex Integra and SolarFlex FSP.

Primarily for surface printing on flexible films & labels:

• SolarFlex FSP offers an upgrade on previous migration-compliant, UV flexo product ranges,
• SolarFlex Integra inks are for label, sleeve & packaging markets that have no requirement for migration-compliant food packaging.

Both inks feature increased color intensity & density while maintaining consistency across a range of colors. Adhesion onto impervious substrates & hold-out on absorbent substrates are significantly improved. The company says switching from SolarFlex Integra to SolarFlex FSP can be done without affecting colors on-press.
