Switch 18 - find last page of a PDF

I have a multiple page PDF. Page count varies from 4 to 9 pages.
I am taking pages 1 - 4 and splitting, dismantling, and then separating the pages via a "allow files that have P1 in the name" etc. Thus forcing P1
down the way I want to get cropped and an ear run against it.
The issus is that I need to get to the last page and the one before that.
So, if 9 pages, I need to have p9 and P8 go down a route.
Any ideas?

If I read this correctly you are splittling a file up in Switch just to be able to run an Action List on specific pages?

If so you don't need to do that, there's a much easier way.

Use the 'Select pages' Action.

You can select first page, last page. They are easy there are specific options for those.

You can select a page range, and what you probably missed is that if you add an 'R', you then count from the back.
so no need reverse the page order.
Just do:

Select last page
Select Page Range - R1
AND

That will select the last page and the last but one.

Additional selects with AND can be added to work on additional pages, or ranges of pages.

If you get stuck drop me a mail.
