My place of employment has been inspected multiple times. There was only one item found,we did not have a sticker on our recyclable 8 foot florencent tubes. A properly ran $100,000,000.00 facilitiy could have VOC count of less than 2,000# well under the 6,000# limit. Go over 6,000# then permits are required.
There are thousands of faclities in the US that would flunk EPA testing and air quality period. Many of them do not have any permits of any kind. OSHA would be next in line for air quality and exposure to chemicals. These 2 groups you don't want to fool around with. Wether they win or not it still takes money out of your pocket and keeps you on their radar for years and years.
