to print bullet or not to print?

I have a weird problem and have no idea where to look for a solution.
A document for a magazine made in InDesign with bullets is copied, renamed for a new month but...
When we try to print that copy, all bullets are gone.
They are in the document but not on paper!?

any one an idea or a suggestion where to look.

Thanks any way.

I recognise the problem, though it was some time back, and a bit fuzzy on the details.

Check what font the bullets are in. Is the font not allowed to be downloaded? Try using a different bullet character. You can also convert bullets to text.

PLease what was the version of InDisign, are you printing via PDF if so what version? What output device / RIP / workflow are you using?

If you are not using PDFx1a or PDFx4 try using one of those standards as first choice for trouble shooting.
