We are experiencing a new issue with toner chipping. When we cut our press sheets down the toner is chipping from the edge. It is very bad on our top sheet, but even the sheets throughout the lift have chipping on the edges. It is so bad on some that the toner chips off by just rubbing your finger across it. We have changed nothing about our process and had been doing it the same for 2 years... with no problems. But now, for some reason, it is happening and has been occurring for several months. We always back cut, so we don't use the grind side of the blade, we have tried different papers, even tried brand new blades, but nothing has worked. The machine is a Xerox DC700. It also occurs on the Xerox DC250.
Any help would be very much appreciated!!!
