V180 - faded text issues

Hi Guys

Ive just rand a booklet job on my v180

Ive noticed the text has printed but at the top edge of every letter it fades

Any ideas what this could be?

Ive got a paper profile on, its calibrated and ive tried adjusting the image transfer and still the same

Its a 170gsm silk stock

What size and colour is the text?

I sometimes get better results on fine text with 200dpi in image quality rather than enhanced text.

Its just a high res pdf file ive been sent.

Font size is 7.5

I occasionally have fonts mis-render with my Fiery EXP-3100 RIP. Use Acrobat to convert the fonts to outlines and see if you get a different result. If so, you have yourself a RIP bug. Print Production>Preflight>PDF Fixups>Convert fonts to Outlines

Ive tried outlining the fonts too

Still no better

Its really weird. Its even on some of the bigger size fonts. Solid throughout and at the top and bottom edges it fades
