Variable Mapping Applications

I'm curious if anyone is using a variable mapping application or service? If so, what's good about it, what's not so good? What are the relative costs?

I saw the XMPie announcement already and would like to know what else is out there that works.

Thanks.

Check maps.locr.com. locr is the supplier of the maps for the XMPie Mapping service. Cost is reasonable and maps have successfully been used in many projects already.
Maps from locr are also available using HP SmartStream Designer 5.5 or DirectSmile Crossmedia Designer.
Also, maps can be obtained on a project by project basis directly from locr in many different styles and types of individualization and can be processed with any kind of VDP software (indexed JPGs).
