Please help me out ...

We are running solid color on transcode opaque sticker, use DIC plastic inks ,we are recently found there is very rough surface when we feel it through figure.

Print is also look like pixelated.

Machine used- Heidelberg SM -1

Is it possible that the anti set off powder is sticked with the solid print and make rough feel surface.
How to correct it as well as maintaining no set-off.

Thanks
Nikunj

You are correct. The spray powder is sticking to the ink creating a sandpaper feel. You can try to depowder it but it probably wont work. Pretty hard to get away with a solid on anything but paper using conventional printing.

Move your micron size of the powder up to 45-50 with silicone treatment. Then, back off of the delivered amount.

Additionally; short stacks, 90-95 IR, and winding the pile will help you.
