Want to upgrade from Xerox Versant 180, recommendations please

The basic operation is nigh on identical to a V180 - you'd be up and running in no time.

Print quality - a little flatter, less shine (which I like). Print quality a little sharper. Paper seems to have less curl when printed. All just a little bit better. You won't be blown away but you will see a difference. Adding pink may make images pop more but I couldn't see a way to upsell that to my customer base.

I think toner based machines have pretty much reached their limit in quality though. Even Xerox guy said yesterday all the development is to bring inket down to these price levels but we're 5-7 years away from that - but I hope to be retired by then!

Suction feed trays are noisier if you are in an office environment, but the finisher is a lot quieter (my old one may have been knackered though!).

New RIP is noticeably faster at processing and imposition. And coming from Fiery already all my old imposition pre-sets are still there.

And I'm hoping to run a lot more gloss and silk art through it!
