What am I waiting on????

I have a mailing that I am printing and I am using the Fiery Freeform process. In CWS it quickly processes the job and moves up to the "printing" section of the window and shows that it has all been processed. Here is where things get strange though. When it prints the engine runs one sheet and then stops for around 1 minute between each sheet. What would cause this? I can replicate it on two printers and it is something to do with the files as I have seen this before when imposing the VD in InDesign.

Under the VD options I am clicking the "Remove White PPT Background Option".

I have always assumed that PPT stands for PowerPoint. Have you tried to process a file with it unchecked to see it it makes a difference? I would expect it to affect the initial processing time, not as it is. But the Fiery's can be strange.

Are the files very complex otherwise? (Lots of transparency, for example?)

Can you use a background form for any of the images this will speed things up also, try sending a postscript file instead has worked for us.
