Just wanted to brag a little.... I finally switched my department over from printing everything to a PS file then distilling to an Acrobat 4 v1.3 PDF..... FLAT FLAT FLAT..... now we are FINALLY exporting direct out of all the desktop publishing apps straight to an Acrobat 8 v1.7 PDF.... yay for transparency!!!!

hahaha.... Just had to tell SOMEONE that would understand!

How are you doing this for Quark files? I even have Q8 and was not aware of a way to do it.

Hence the reason that the entire prepress community is ticked off with Q8.
Seriously, Quark - can you get a clue sometime and give us native transparency?
Sometime before every single one of my clients switches to Indd - wait, what am I saying.
I am thrilled that I am getting them all to switch. In fact, Quark, you should know that I have personally
gotten 3 large clients (12 seats of Quark) to go to Indd and not to upgrade to Q8.
