Xeikon has announced the PX30000 UV—7-Color, inkjet press—addition to its Panther inkjet portfolio. The PX30000 is equipped with 8-printing stations, two of which are used to achieve high opaque white layers—driven by Xeikon’s X-800 digital front end. This is a roll-to-roll, rotary press that prints on substrate widths up to 340mm (13,4”), with a maximum speed of 70m/min (229ft/min), using opaque white. The press has extended color gamut capability, with a choice of 2 configurations: 6 or 7-color, with full color management controls.
Designed for the high-end label markets of health, beauty, chemicals and premium beers, the new press is available for demonstration at Xeikon’s Global Innovation Center and is commercially available in Europe & North America.
