Hi all!

I have a streak running the length of my sheet only in the cyan. I have switched the corotrons, switched drums and run a toner clean procedure in the admin maintenance. Can't seem to get rid of the streak. I am fairly certain it is in the developer housing. I am on Time and Materials with Xerox so I want to avoid a new housing if at all possible. Is there anything further that can be done to get a streak out of the developer housing or is it toast?

Yep. But it's not a complete void just a light blurry streak.

You probably have a chunk of developer under the metering blade. Look at the magroller and see if you can find the line. That's where the chunk is.

I actually cannot see the line on the mag roller. It's kind of faint on the sheet at this point though. is there a way to clean/clear the metering blade?

Get a piece of chipboard or thick cardstock and run it from side to side inside the housing, hopefully you can push whatever is clogging the housing to the edge. This works maybe 40% of the time. I've had issues with developer housings and they are currently on national backorder due to them pulling a bunch from inventory because of a manufacturing defect.

Inside the housing? Where exactly do you go in to do that? Under that metering blade against the mag roller?
