Xerox 8080 speed

looking for a true throughput speed for 8080. Published speed is not always accurate as it does not include in-run adjustments, etc.
I am using 12x18 100# cover duplexed for my testing.
For example: I tested KM8000 the other day and it produced 750 duplexed sheets per hour (12.5 per minute)
Xerox does not have a demo available in my area for the 8080 so I am hoping to get feedback from users.
Pricepoint is 50% higher than KM8000/Canon7010/Ricoh C901 but I want to consider if there is reason to do so.
We run primarily cover weights, heavy coverage, high quality. 100k impressions month
Any feedback appreciated.
Thanks
Kevin

Did your test on the KM8000 include rip time? That seems slow. I know it drops to 70ppm above 300gsm, but still.

As for the 8080, sorry haven't seen a unit anywhere yet.

No did not include rip, the speed was measured several times during a 2 hour print run.
My understanding of the 8000 is that it runs at 80ppm up to 150gsm or so, then drops to 70ppm. Drops speed again over 300 gsm.
That is why I am looking for and testing real world measurements. The published specs don't tell the true story.

The 8080 is 2 generations above my 8000AP. Same engine, just low gloss toner and in line Spectro. My 8000 will run 300gsm 12x18 at 1200 duplex/hr. in All Weights Mode. Now if you are changing from 105gsm to 300 gsm you will have about a 8 to 10 minute delay for the machine to adjust itself, before it starts printing.
