I've 2 problems with my printer.

1. Yellow color is not registering.
So far I've changed the drum, cleaned the MOB sensors, changed the IBT belt, Cleaned the ROS, tried to restore NVM settings for regicon, interchanged the MOB sensors, changed the developer and housing but NOTHING! It only happens on the yellow and its shifting about 1mm.

It's giving me error 006-656 'RC data oveflow fai'l on the PWS which I've followed all procedures to no avail.

Is there anything that I am missing?

2. After the printer went into power save mode and came back ON. the freeflow RIP is telling me that 'printer is powered off'.

Initially the printer was giving me 003-317 error but cleared after I re-installed the PCUI software. I've rechecked the cables and somehow its giving me 'system error' after close-out from the pws.

I cannot be able to print and am diagnosing the yellow mis-registration through test prints from the PWS.

I would really appreciate if someone helped me.

Power off completely and re-start. The machine will go through image registration at that time. See if it helps.

Finally got to resolve the issues.

The misregistration on yellow was cause by a mirror which had moved in the ROS assembly.

no communication issues was caused by the freeflow which going into save mode when it shouldn't have.
