xerox v180 paper setting

I am running 80lb Silk Text 118gsm, what would I pick as the paper setting? I am getting streaks on the back?
I am printing a booklet and it is streaking on the back pages. Have changed 3 drums and changed the fuser belt.
Also, when I try to have my machine face trim it leaves a vertical line on the front and back cover, if I don't face trim, it doesn't do it.

The streaks on the back mean the 2nd btr needs replacing. Common problem on versant 80/180/280. Have a search round this forum and you'll see plenty of articles. If you have a service contract just ask them to replace it or you can do it yourself as very simple.

Also has been replaced
I think my paper settings need to be tweaked. Any suggestions?

you need to print one sided prints only
then check and see if the marks are on the print side or on the back side which should be black
also dont you have a service tech?

It is only on the back side. And we do, but they haven't figured out why it's doing it. So got me thinking, it might be my paper setting, which are coated 106-135gsm running on 12x18 making a booklet and trimmed to 8.5x11, although I have the face trimmer, I can't use it for this book because it's leaving a vertical line on the front and back. I just wanted to know if anyone has a suggestion on what paper setting I could try......any suggestions?

as far as paper settings you have the different gsms
I am sure you have changed the setting and run a few sheets one sided to see how they come out
you can narrow down at what point in the machine this happens also buy stopping it before the fuser to see if it has the marks
these are all obvious thing that the tech should have done in the first 5 minutes of being there

80# Silk Text GSM118 so I have it set as coated and gsm 106-135. I will do the stop before it gets to the fuser and check it out. Xerox techs take forever to show up and are in a hurry to leave. Thank you so much for your suggestions, Azehnali. I truly appreciate your time.

How many copies ago was the 2nd BTR replaced?

Silk/matte/dull/satin coated text weight stock always showed 2nd BTR issues faster than any other stock I ran in the 7 years with my Versant 80. Different brands yielded different results.

Duly noted! That's what I thought, but wanted to get other people's opinions. We changed the BTR and it was still getting those streaks so that's when I started thinking it might be the paper settings.
