Calibration problem

after calibration the prints become more dark and without calibration there is colour variation and would also like to know how to calibrate dc 250 in detail as there are many options like igen, 5252, dc 3535

I believe that there is a bug in the creo cx250/cx260 software. I have experienced exactly the same scenario. Re-loading the creo software will reset the colour and the first calibration will look correct - however each time you calibrate the output will get darker.

thanks Bo3b
i have done the same and got good results but know i m facing a new problem if i print a multiple say 50 prints the print become lighter say the colour variation is almost about 15 to 20 % in that first print and the last print

IMO you have problem with consistency of color coverage rather than calibration and/or color management (Rip sends one set of bitmap images to the printer for whole job, if it's not VDP).
The previous digital press I used to work with was Xerox DC250, which had serious problem with printing consistent full page solids on heavier papers.
Is your artwork a strong solid color printed on heavier paper? Then you've got an answer for at least your last post.
