    We seem to have an air leak when the back edge clamp is opening, eventually it reaches full pressure and the clamp will open up and clamp the plate. Any idea? Thanks

    We are currently running prinect v10 and have been offered an update to v12. The software is provided free but we are being quoted quite a hefty cost for the installation and training. Are there any major benefits for us going up to v12? Thanks

    Personally i would say 36c is too hot, we never run ours above 32c and never have any problems. We always reduce the heat on the second pass as well.

    I would just be interested to know how other companies are setup with regards to there paper stock ordering, who does it? how far in advance is paper ordered? Also when the stock enters the building is it labeled up so people know what job is it for? Thanks

    yes just using the first unit for dusting, black in the second. When we get running on the second side and get sheets without the slur the fit is spot on, there just doesn't seem to be any sequence to it when you look through the sheets.

    Yes its a bit wavy, but it was wavy before we printed the first side. like i said in the original post we've printed lots of other jobs without a problem, its just this one stock.

    Yes we have IR dryers usually set at around 32c. We've run it on both lays and it doesn't alter anything.

    Know how you feel mate, i start a 400,000 run tomorrow cmyk both sides and coated on cheap 100gsm silk,it's a 50,000 32pp A5 booklets on a SM52-5. We do them quite regular and i always learn something new, but its still a hard slog.
