    ECRM MAKO4 fogging

Have you ruled out the plates / processor? If you take a blank plate and put it through the processor do you get the same results? I have seen just this kind of behaviour before, with a bad batch of plates, also check that your preheats / speed / dev temps are all correct and safe lights are OK...

    Highwater (Harlequin) RIP/CTP errors

If anyone is upgrading their PC for Python I would just be aware that trying to jump an evolution step may be a waste of time, in terms of OS spec, XP SP2 is about the safest OS to go with I know issues had been seen on later releases of XP / Vista, If it does work on a virtual server I would be...

    Highwater (Harlequin) RIP/CTP errors

If it is working part time, it does sound like a possible peltier failure on the laser module, but it is possible that error message which appears is not the actual issue., but something upstream. If this problem happens again, its worth doing a system status with full eprom settings and...

getting halftone patterns after ripping, need solid

Try ripping the job with no calibration set...If that works it could be the calibration, I have vague memories that of a feature of HQN rips that if you read 100% on the 98% patch and entered this in, you would get a screened dot on solids

HELP:- To choose right CtP technology

Both Violet AND thermal have their pluses and negatives, pricing plays a big part of your choice, with thermal you can get the speed, but you pay for it with 64 laser. Running as plate business you have different needs from that of inhour printer. The places I have visited have customers with...

    JetPlate Issues

I very much doubt it, Harlequin RIPs come in different guises according to dongle. They can be limited by resolution and specific plugins. As the Jet Plate was inkjet, it wou;ld have been cheaper for Jetplate to buy a special dongle just t for their plugin rather a complete open high res RIP

    New batch of violet plates

I would say this depends, on type of work you are doing and type of plates. If anything I would say check RIP calibration with Dot Meter and recalibrate if needs be. That is a quicktest and will compensate if there are difference Differences between the better brands are minimal, but beware...

Help for essay about CTP technology!

Plates from Fuji do appear to making it to market now, however it appears from little I have seen that they have been targeting non fuji plate users. Another issue has been processors. There are few chem free specific processors out there, and conversion kits for others don't appear to be ready...

    Fuji platesetter/processor proprietary???
