How can I print to a postscript file or pdf file from Quark 5?

Any suggestions as to what chemicals work best to clean said machine? We currently use hot water, occasional White Vinegar, Prisco APC Plate Cleaner and dawn dish detergent. Thanks:-)

The exit plate sensors (MC7, MC8, MC9) are not picking up the plate. Does anyone know if 1 works, they all work or if 1 does not work, they all fail? Other suggestions? Thanks, Mark

Problem Solved! There are 3 plate proximity sensors in the cylinder. 1 on the way into the cylinder, 1 on the way out of the cylinder and 1 out of the cylinder on the way to the exit roller assembly. Cleaned them off with a Q-Tip and Windex.

I have a broken tension spring that holds 1 of the 4 ironing rollers in place. Who knows how to move the roller assembly from the top of the cylinder to the bottom for accessibility and servicing? Thanks, Mark

We have been printing Preps paginated proofs on our Epson 9800 in 360 dpi for about 18 months. All of a sudden, we get white banding beyween the 1" ink swathes. When we change to 720 dpi, they go away...and so does printing timely proofs. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks, Mark
