Cleaning an AGFA LP 82 Ultra Processor

Any suggestions as to what chemicals work best to clean said machine? We currently use hot water, occasional White Vinegar, Prisco APC Plate Cleaner and dawn dish detergent. Thanks:)

It's recommended to use some Bleach/Javex time to time as well. The reason is - to kill the algae growing in a finisher like crazy.

Hi printmonger,

We used ScotchBrite pads, Simple Green, and water.

Hope this helps,

We have the LP 68 Ultra, and we also use ScotchBrite pads and Simple Green and water. The Simple Green works great, but the smell gets to you after a while. And, today just happens to be maintenance day :(

We now have a newer platesetter and plate processor and still use the same stuff.

Cheers,
Jon

The best is to use a Developer reduction KIT, reducing Developer chemistry usage, Cleaner Tank and last suggestion use fresh Developer to clean the draines. I am agree with rest of the suggestions.;)
