400gsm on 350gsm rated Xerox...

Can anyone with a Xerox rated for 350gsm tell me the heaviest stock they have successfully run? I am wondering if 400 gsm would be doable, in small quantities, and only printing one side.

From previous experience, the 300 gsm C75 seems to run 20-30 gsm over without any issues.

I've got a Xerox 800 and run both 400gsm Silk Matt (400 micron) and 400gsm Uncoated Board (450 micron) through it fairly frequently.
When you are running these heavy stocks grain direction is very important. We often have to trim down to SRA4 and feed short edge.

Our old 700 made an awful noise when feeding 350gsm Silk. I think it was the flick from the high cap tray.
