Can you share your experiences with this plate (especially in a newspaper environment) pros-cons issues, etc. they're being exposed on an ECRM Newsmatic so any info on that device would also be appreciated.

Toronto, "Korea Times". 3 years in use. CTP: Advantage NSL, Luxel, Galileo VS. Plate processors - AGFA VPP68 and VCF65 upgraded to wash-out condition (some round brushes removed and new guides installed).
Customer is satisfied with plates, but plate processing is their main concern because of heavy load (amount of plates per day).

We have been using the N94-VCF plate for a couple of years with great success. I'm not familiar with ECRM machines, we image using AGFA Advantage N-DL with a N-SL as backup. I wouldn't recommend the N-SL as the primary high-use CTP, the N-DL is worth the extra cash. Processors are AGFA VCF-85 clean-out unit, they don't use developer so much cleaner than our previous Lap-V processors. Overall the system works awesome, the only complaint from the press room is the plates scratch easier, as compared to our previous Lap-V plates. We print on mostly newsprint, also other uncoated stock and heat-set glossy jobs. IMO with the N94-VCF plate you get the benefits of cleanliness and stability comparable to thermal plates, but the speed and simplicity of violet. Hope this helps.
