POSITION SUMMARY:
The Color Management Advisor will be responsible for the strategic approach of Color Management across the FedEx Office Network and ensuring alignment across impacted teams. This individual will act as a subject matter expert of Color Management processes supporting cross channel projects and day-to-day activities for workstations, systems, software, and other hardware that enables Color Management across the FedEx Office Network. This role provides day-to-day tactical support as well as overall program development, strategy, and oversight, including budget management. This role provides direction and interacts with various stakeholders and business partners including, but not limited to, Network Operations, Technology, Marketing, and team members from other FedEx operating companies and 3rd party vendors.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with business and 3rd party partners to identify most effective solutions to implement new initiatives/requirements resulting in improvements to color managed output
• Maintain knowledge of industry practices, trends, and technology through trade associations and industry involvement
• Define requirements for field training in Color Management and related efforts; provide internal training to business partners supporting the color management efforts.
• Identify current limitations in existing systems/solutions and areas of redundancy within various existing systems
• Manage the collection and review of field consistency data for troubleshooting purposes and to define requirements and/or recommendations that lead to an integrated color management process across the FedEx Office network
• Create a roadmap of programs and projects to depict a proposed timeline
• Lead and drive the focus of project efforts towards the related goals defined by the program
• Create Project Charters and proposal presentations in order to gain approval for each project
• Interface with the Tech-Support team to define and improve support procedures and capabilities through training, communication, and documentation across all related projects
• Define business requirements for specialized store systems, including all In-Center Systems both hardware and software solutions
• Manage related projects throughout all phases’ concept, definition, development, and launch. Interface with both operations and technology project managers to coordinate, execute, and support alpha and beta site testing, and to provide formal recommendations for approval following field testing prior to general release
• Interface with Project Managers as they work with the implementation team to coordinate deliverables associated with product deployment, and develop utilities and tools that facilitate deployment
• Identify a communication methodology for each project to ensure stakeholders are kept informed throughout the complete process
• Communicate with executive management and field management on each individual project‘s status, risks, opportunities, etc.
• Provide reporting as requested (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Oracle database). Status reports may be required weekly.
• Interface with the Learning and Development team to ensure adequate training is made available as new products are released to the field
• Create and manage multiple cross-functional budgets for the specific projects within the scope of position’s responsibility
• Develop and document business requirements, including possible system applications
• Deliver detailed procedures to support programs across the network
• All other duties as needed or required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience required
• Masters Degree preferred
• G7 / Master Certification preferred
• IDEAlliance Color Management Professional preferred
• 5+ years experience Color Management and Production experience to include profile creation, profile analysis, colorimetric analysis and workflow integration.
• Extensive experience in configuring color settings via a variety of print production applications, including Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, RIPs, Print Dialogs, Production Workflow Systems
• Prior experience in color production systems preferred
• Extensive experience in the following business applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Share Point
• 2 + years program/project management experience
• Prior experience in integrating production, and manufacturing support systems
• For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office's employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful passing of background check
• For current FedEx Office's team members, must have received a Satisfactory or above on last performance appraisal

• While this position is based out of FXO Corporate Office in Dallas, TX, candidate must have the ability to travel as required in order to meet with customers, vendors, other team members, and/or other business necessities throughout the FedEx Office network
