Color profiling. Where to start with a new digital press.

So you get your press installed. It comes with spectro for profiling as well as an inline spectro for color consistency.(J75 for me) Does installer have a standard set-up to go through with all? Do you do your own or have a preferred method. Say you want to match G7 proofs off of your Epson that you use for your offset presses. Curious to what you guys have done. Thanks in advance.

well, you need to print out the colour wedge, ie G7, then use software to verify the results, I use efi verify,its part of colorproof, there are a lot of others around.
