wht would be the cause of images losing its colour while printng. The ratio used is 1:4 and processing time for a plate set by the Fusji technicians is 10-12mins. This processor is AGFA converted to Fuji chemicals

Loss of color could be a sharpening of the dot structure. I place a 2% dot in the color bar for 3 reasons. 1-to confirm that the platesetter can hold a 2% dot. 2-Make sure the press can print a 2% dot and check it throughout the run (looking for sharpening). 3- Looking for doubling or other press issues.

Are you having a problem with the image losing colour in the print or a problem with losing the image itself?

Or are you losing the colour of the image on the plate?
