Just a friendly warning to anyone in Ohio or surrounding areas. Make sure you are signing with Xerox direct, not a reseller. One if the largest dealers in the area is owned by the Xerox company and claim to offer the same services as Xerox. Well, a couple months after signing with them we started to see that there is a big difference. Their service response time is not even close to what was promised, in a few cases as long as 3-4 days. They actually tried to charge me $1200 for parts to fix a machine that was covered by a service plan. About a year into the contract they said out toner usage was sky high and they were dropping the contract. As of now the machine is broken down and sits in the back corner collecting dust but we are still paying the lease. It seems they can drop out of their part of the contract as they please but we have no way of getting out of the lease. So, when their sales guys come to your shop I would suggest you send them packing. They will lie in your face and tell you anything to get you to sign a contract but after that they will do anything they can to hurt you.

Politician - Used Car Salesman - Copier Salesman . . . is there any difference?

Of course! The politician only gives you empty promises. The other two give you crappy machines along with their empty promises.

If that dealer is in fact owned by the Xerox company, you should be able to scream at some Xerox higher ups about it.
