We are looking for a detailed oriented individual with Adobe experience to work in our composition/prepress department. In this position, you will take art files, fix computer layouts and burn plates for multiple printing presses along with our flexographic presses to operate. If you have exceptional computer skills and like working with graphics, fonts and colors this is the job for you!

Full Job Description:
  • Review customer files for potential problems such as size, color, fold and glue patterns, security features, allowances, color traps, fonts, bleeds and resolutions
  • Use of graphics software (e.g. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat) to design and produce finished artwork
  • Create soft and hard copy proofs for customer approval
  • Manage a wide range of tasks such as prepping work for the press, creating imposition layouts, trapping, processing plates through the Computer-To-Plate processor for various offset presses, make film and flexographic plates.
  • Preform Preventative Maintenance on all prepress equipment, hardware, software, printers, film machines and all plate making equipment.
Must Have Knowledge of:
  • Illustrator CC
  • Photoshop CC
  • Acrobat CC
  • InDesign CC
  • XMF Fuji Rip System
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
Qualifications:
  • High School or Equivalent (Preferred)
  • Graphic Design: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Prepress: 3 years (Preferred)
