Try the contact page on Duplo's website. They have a "Parts and Supplies" option. Even if they won't sell directly to you, they can put you in contact with a local dealer.I havent been able to find a place to order parts from.
Down towards the end of the page you'll see the part number $13.43 - Duplo Spring.
I can't get the site to load now either. The part number that Duplo has listed for the spring is P9-K1631. I found the 99W-20200 and it sure looks like the same spring. Godar has it listed with their after market parts, so maybe it's the same spring. Can't go wrong for what they have it listed for.Just had this exact same thing happen to our 618. I wonder what causes it.
I took the spring out, put it on a pair of vice grips, and fought it til it was "mostly" bent back into shape. Still not perfect, but we can at least crease now. Our dealier is out of town for at least a week, so we'd be down otherwise.
This site refuses to load for me. I found a 99W-20200 part number on another site. Is that the part number you were referencing? I want to buy like 20 of them for future hoarding/replacement purposes.
