Duplo 618 display cutter locked

Hi,
We have Duplo dc 618 that display error cutter locked. We check there is no scrap inside no dust. When we reset it work for one or two sheet then stop and the same message appear cutter locked.
Machine is 2 year old. Cutter move smoothly manually. I think it’s is cutter motor faulty
Any idea ?

Not sure what your cutter cycle count is but the blade unit and motor assy are one unit now. If the blade is worn the gear driven motor is not far behind so everything gets replaced. Seldom the sensors go bad.

I've had this happen as well, unfortunately you likely need a new cutter. You can pull out cutter, inspect for any paper jams, and manually cycle the blade a few times and replace and see if the code goes away after reboot.

WE have this happen when theres a little tiny sliver of paper covering up the end sensors. It's nearly impossible to get that sliver of paper out and it'll move around inside there. So it'll work a little while and then sensor gets covered again and then we use a leaf blower to try to get that sliver out. I took apart the machine once and cleared out all the slivers in that gap but the wires in there are so tight it took me a lifetime to get it back together so I've never done it again and we just... use the leafblower.
