Estimating Software suggestions

Hi there,

I work for a company that started out designing and manufacturing point of purchase displays. Within the last year we have acquired a Vutek QS3200 and an I-Cut and have gotten ourselves into the printing industry for POP displays. The problem is that our current estimating software really doesn't cut it anymore. It is a program that was custom written about 30 years ago now, I believe it was done in 1980. Runs in Dos and really is something that should have been retired long ago. We seem to be having a lot of trouble finding a program that will work for us, as most of what we've come across seems to be for printing only, and mostly geared towards printing brochures and stuff like that.

What we need is something that can estimate for our digital printer, we mostly print on materials like styrene and corrugate, as well as being able to estimate mounting, die cutting, i-cutting, finishing, and packing. We only do the small quantity jobs in house on our printer and i-cut, then large quantity we get the printing done outside and we receive printing sheets that we then mount and die-cut with our machines in the factory. That has proven to be the hard part in what we're looking for is that a lot of these programs don't appear to have mounting or die cutting. If anyone has any suggestions as to what could I look into it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time,
Tom Downey
