We cant get the KM6501 to output to the higher capacity stacking tray, the paper always comes out on the upper tray which can only hold about 100 sheets (estimate) when i try to tell it to go to the other tray it says i have an incompatibility and wants me to change the paper size from 13x19 to 8.5x11.

this is a 1 sided job with no finishing options, and our finisher only staples.

so what gives, anyone?

You can only output 13x19 sheets to the top tray as far as I know, if anyone else knows any different...I would love to know about it.

There is a software switch on the engine the tech can change to make it come out the main tray. This only works on the fiery.

We do have the fiery,

can you tell me what it is called or what i should ask for when talking to the tech?

Thanks

Problems with large amounts of large-format paper...
Is there any possibility for straight (certainly without stapling, folding, etc.!) simplex or duplex print of paper size 314 (or 320) x 487 mm with output to the main tray from finisher?

We reached to main tray only 314 x 458 mm (C7000) and 320 x 458 mm (C65hc).
It's really that limited?

Configurations:
KM-C7000 (firmware 32, dipswitch 31-1-1), FS-612, PK-512, PI-502, LU-202, HT-503, IC-413 Fiery E100 70-60C-KM PS 1.0 SW 9
KM-C65hc (firmware 50, dipswitch 31-1-1), FS-607, PI-520, IC-305 Fiery PRO80 65-55C-KM PS 3.0a SW 9

Many thanks for any info or other advice!

once again ...
what is possible output tray by large amounts of large sizes paper (greater than SRA3) via FS-612 or FS-607, Main or only Sub Tray?

thank you

I'm in the US, but in the US the FS-607 and FS-612 will only accommodate sheet sizes over 12x18 to the sub tray, and anything 12x18 or less to the main tray. To get larger volume output of sheets over 12x18, you have to move up to the FS-521 staple finisher or the LS-505 stacker.
