Hi Guys

Ive managed to get hold of some imposition software. Quite imposing.

I cant seem to suss out how to get 8 up A6 set out on an SRA3 sheet

Any tips?

Bare in mind im a complete novice for this

Does your question come up before or after reading the manual? Although I know nothing about Quite imposing, it is well regarded software, so I would expect it to have a decent manual.

Did you purchase the software or are you working with the demo version? If you're working with the demo version and feel like trying something else, you can try our inpO2 software for Acrobat. It may be easier for you and I can help you through it. All you'd need to do is work through the inpO2 Wizard and it would step you though. Very easy. Feel free to email directly if you decide to give it a shot and need help.

If you are looking for some basic imposition software and willing to try some alternatives, I can whole heartedly recommend CutePDF Professional. I'm in the UK and have been using it for about six months in my digital shop and it does everything I need. Booklets, n up, etc. All you have to do is open the pdf in the software, set the page size, the repeat and margins and it does it. You can also store the settings for future use, so we have programmed A4, A5, A6, etc so imposing takes seconds. It is only about £30 I believe for the paid for version. There is also a free trial which just puts a watermark on one edge (which when working with SRA3 is in the trimmed off area anyway!), but it is so good I thought it well worth the 30 quid. Hope that helps.

I think that for Digital Quite Imposing is the best program for imposition. Very usefull for make Tickets with numbering, N-UP, Steap and repeat, Bleeds, etc.

I think that Quite Imposing for me... is the best... if need help tell me it! i can teach you!
